Description

BK-PA Type Precision Air Mounts provide extremely low frequency damping for precision measuring equipment, optical inspection equipment, nuclear magnetic resonance equipment and precision machining equipment. Complete isolation system contains at least three air spring mounts (because three points determine a plane), on the mounts with a level control valve, it is load sensor and height control unit, if due to structure or loading need more air spring, also must contain three level control valve, to ensure that the static height limit, Other air springs can meet heavy load requirements through controlled parallel connection of spring mounts.

Component

The air spring vibration isolator consists of a cast aluminum body whose air chamber is surrounded by a thin wall flexible diaphragm. The plunger is on the diaphragm and is pushed into the air chamber. This design has a high vibration isolation effect. In order to obtain the highest possible damping effect, the air position is divided into two air chambers (load/damping chambers) connected by an air tube. The damping can be easily adjusted from the outside through the regulating valve.

Due to friction caused by air flowing through the bypass valve, which can create up to 25% of the damping may be affected, the additional relief valve protects the roller diaphragm from damage by overcharging.

Operating Principle

The air spring vibration isolation device with horizontal control system is an active vibration isolation system, which will always keep the machine or platform level and automatically adjust the level. The pressure in the air spring can be adjusted by internal venting or charging according to load changes, which can maintain good vibration isolation effect under any circumstances.

When the rubber air spring works, the compressed air enters the cylinder through the horizontal regulating air valve,forming a compressed air column. The vibration isolation effect is achieved by the pressure change of the compressed air in the rubber film airbag, which has low working natural frequency, good resonance resistance performance and sensitive response.

The air spring has additional air chambers to reduce vertical stiffness and a throttle hole between the air spring body and the additional air chamber to provide damping. When the air spring is excited by the deformation, the throttle hole on both sides will produce pressure difference, compressed air through the throttle hole, will be affected by local resistance and produce damping, absorb a part of the energy, so as to suppress resonance, so that it remains stable.

Description

Standard BK-PA air mounts have natural frequencies as low as 1.7Hz. Some custom products can have natural frequencies as low as 0.5Hz.

The complete BK-PA system contains at least 3 active air mounts (because 3 points determine a plane). Each air mount has a horizontal regulator, which is the load sensor and height control unit. The number of active air mounts required can be increased according to the weight of the equipment
