Seismic bearings are easily installed or upgraded for applications with a maximum compressive load of 190.5 kg. The BK range of anti-vibration mounts can be added to any vibrating equipment such as a machine, engine or generator to absorb vibration. This greatly reduces noise for the machine operator or people in the environment. Because the bracket reduces vibration throughout the machine, it increases machine life, reduces wear rates, and reduces maintenance requirements. Thus, the efficiency and productivity of the machine is increased. The anti-vibration mounts consist of a rubber cylinder that can be mounted on machines with threaded shafts or inserts with internal threads. For installation flexibility, options are available with rubber heads as stops for vertical installation or designs with stainless steel discs at both ends for parallel installation. The new stainless steel range has been developed to meet the needs of OEMs for increased durability in harsh environments such as chemicals or water wash. The new line also offers extended life for OEMs or end users who require increased wear resistance. This series complements BK’ existing offering of steel anti-vibration mounts. The rubber cylinders have been carefully selected for optimal shock absorption with a hardness of 55 Shore A selected for a variety of applications. The bracket can be used on small machines with maximum compressive loads from less than 4kg at 0.9mm deflection to heavy loads over 190kg at 3.2mm deflection. The shortest column length of the stent is only 8 mm, while the longest column can be up to 30 mm long.
